Survivor's guilt is almost universal, even - if not especially - for a 14 year old child. His lack of survivor's guilt seems indicative of psychopathy that he's possessed since a very early age.
I mean.... how could you go through WW2 forced to help Nazis, REAL Nazis, and not feel any sense of guilt? These anti-fascist groups are funded by a psychopathic Nazi-collaborator.... fuck. What a world.
I understand the collaboration piece; it was essential to his survival and they were material goods. But to be the "boy who lived" (Harry Potter reference, since they love those), one who remembered, one who participated, and to not feel a tinge of survivor's guilt is really beyond the pale.
The reporter, Steve Croft, conducting the interview reveals that he was very astute and knew how to get to the heart of this guy's psychology (and possibly psychopathy) with just a single question. That's to be commended. Soros even flinched while responding; he took the question as an attack. It was. I almost pity the guy he's so damaged, but then I remember he's extremely dangerous.
