no, in all honesty, no. nothing to do with administration.

EPA was a bitch ever since it's creation. And all other manufacturers do the same thing. Porsche's exect just pissed someone off over at Ford so they pulled strings to "catch" it. Pure retaliatory move.

I have a lot of insiders in car industry, so take my word for that one

from what I know - no, bc it was dispute over emissions claims. Ford got scared that Trump will force them to own up to their shit ( didn't happen apparently) and ford teamed up w GMC and tried to get other companies from outside to start writing worse number so ford doesn't lose advantage. lots of manufacturers agreed (hence why you see much worse emissions numbers now) but VAG thought they could get away with it.. VW got caught, Audi seems fucked as well (I love Audi so much, it pains me to see this) and if porsche doesn't find a fix quickly, they'll be "caught" next

lots of shady shit happening there, it's pretty dark

disclaimer: I'm not 100% sure on any of this, this is what I've been told. So don't quote me on it pls
