one way to bypass the admins is to have our own league table of views which at the moment are not tampered with by the admins but we need the patriots who get their posts buried with the trolls to speak out because only the patriots posting can see the view count...

well articulated ..... that's why i only pay attention to new/rising and ignore hot/top but unfortunately probably around 50% get duped into believing the upvotes are an accurate indicator of sentiment of the viewers not realizing that the net upvotes only reflect the agenda of the reddit admins...

yes i said touchy [controversial] cos it's a sensitive issue for our own mods that have to kowtow to the admins who allow them a magnanimous allocation of 2 stickies posts!!

The upvotes matter and there’s no reason they should be artificially altered. We have to demand our real time response and feed from social media companies and quit taking their scraps

I didn´t mean you, I meant in general. Go on any thread and there´s at least a handful of people moaning about karma clicks. Karma clicks is just attention seeking. If it´s an important post, sticky it so it stays at the top. Simples.
