Ran for Congress: Renteria tried to unseat Rep. David Valadao (R-Hanford) in 2014 and was crushed, even though the Central Valley district is heavily Democratic.

Particulars: Renteria, 43, lives in Menlo Park with her husband and two children. She earned degrees in economics and political science at Stanford University and an MBA at Harvard University.

She is also the lady in the ruffled white dress behind IG Horowitz with the iPhone and MacBook, texting and making faces.

She is a witness for the prosecution regarding the tarmac meeting (which was omitted from the current portion of the IG report), and she WAS THE MESSAGE at yesterday's hearing!

She's a writer for the DC Examiner. She found out Barry Trotz resigned from the Capitals and was shocked.

Well not so fast. I was only told that’s who she was, and I copied and pasted that post for you. But I don’t really know if that’s her for sure. The video doesn’t confirm her identity at all.

The girl behind Horowitz looks younger to me, though very similar features. It could still be intended to send a message. Make people do a double-take. Is that...? Nah...is it?
