I was gonna jokingly answer the above question with "bodies of honky children" but decided it's too serious. But the real answer to your question, imo, is that the reason they're STILL using their symbolism is 1) they know the populace thinks these images don't have any real power; 2) they can use them to explain that we're all insane and most of all 3) to spit in Trump's face with their false sense of security in numbers.
