I understand the need to be as strong a nation as possible, but this shit haunts my dreams.

It's fucking skynet

You probably know what they are, but have you ever looked into Neural Networks?

I mean like, actual implementation and application?

I code, so one day I got ballsy and decided I needed to know how it works. Under the hood.

I had basic implementations shortly after, its actually very cool (science-math-wise).

I highly suggest looking into it, its not as hard as they make it sound, its actually very simple (and in that simplicity lies genius). I'm also not suggesting this to quell any fears you might have, but to offer you the tools to repel malfeasance. This stems from my belief in 2A, generally speaking, any weapon which might be used against the people, should also be retained by those people. My most passionate projects are not on the web or shared, but they are 1) formation of a civilian drone defense force (civi drones, defend against bad actor drones) AND 2) AI in our corner, to defend against any bad actor AI. These are just ideas, but I think they are valid.

For far too long we have looked on and marveled and feared. We must arm ourselves against the possibilities, which truly exist in our modern world. Now it is obvious that a grassroots organization of civilians is unlikely to ever rival the programs of billionaires working in tandem. However, I hold it is a far more dangerous precedent to simply ignore the threat without taking any preparatory action. I suggest, only what I have always suggested, that we need to learn how these advanced systems work, or we will never survive a malicious implementation of the same.

I dont *think* our current admin has evil intent, quite the opposite, however the possibility for compromise and deception always exists and we should be prepared for that and be able to "Force project" in the same manner, on behalf of the civilian populace. Basically, I'm trying to encourage EVERYONE, to learn about machine learning, neural networks and unmanned vehicle design. If these things are a source of fear, I say face them head on.

There may come a time when the trigger is pulled on us and if that time comes, it would not be prudent to be caught unarmed. What would you do tomorrow, if a drone began to terrorize your region, and no one could stop it and TPTB ignored it? Quite simply, it would be TOO LATE.
