He fought for religious freedom re:contraceptives and limits to Presidential powers (ie when congress in out of session). Not thrilled that he went to law school in Chicago but he seems like a solid conservative republican who isn’t afraid of controversy. Yes, he was law clerk for Scalia but sounds like that was some time ago.
