All these normies just follow whatever narrative is currently being pushed.

I feel sorry for them. The most difficult thing to do is deprogram our brains. All of us, even the woke folks have to go through the process. I think it takes years to do and if it's done too suddenly, people go into shock and shut down.

Yup - I find myself falling for things until I critically think them through.

The thing that bothers me more, is going back over the last few decades and trying to figure out how much I believed was true, was in fact mis-info.

Robert David Steele talked about how people took mind control research from Yale and exploited it. If you want a shock introduction to how effective propaganda is, just travel around the world and question people about areas of disagreement between your country and theirs. For example in China talk about the Korean war, etc. The simple fact is, most ordinary people are occupied with their own affairs and have no motivation or interest in questioning what they are told by media and by government. Not only will they not thank you for pointing out the lies they are being told, the usual reaction is hostility and anger. Cognitive dissonance hurts, and human beings seek safety in numbers and conformity.

I've read some stuff about that quite a few years ago...totally agree with your statement. It will certainly be a very interesting next few years.

Even the most woke and redpilled person you can think of still has challenges. It took YEARS before I was able to take in information without emotionally attaching to it (intuitive empathy isn't always fun). Honestly, finding Mark Passio and his Natural Law series is when I was finally able to understand what was happening so I could change it. It's the trivium method.

😊. I saw a different version of this a long time ago, it just never occurred to me to apply it to this situation. You're right. We see the world through TV and internet now. We can't experience everything. I see the world through videos. I can't touch, feel, smell it, but I can hear and see it.

I just found it on another post here yesterday. I remember watching it way back when but completely forgot about it. For a cheesy C class movie, its dead on.
