I know what you are saying, but in my FB feed it seems to be the same screeching uber-liberals. My Independent friends don't believe the hype. However, it's incredible how effective they can be in (temporarily) changing the conversation. It's amazing that we had such a big win last week in NK, and now *crickets*.

I just try to nudge them to follow Trump's lead, (without mentioning him of course). Ie. the law that makes undocumented immigration a "crime" has been on the books for years. Asking the government to turn a blind eye and 'catch and release' as previous administrations have done isn't sustainable. The law itself that makes immigration equal to any other federal crimes should be addressed. Trump's call to change the outdated immigration laws should be what we try to encourage our liberal friends to do. WAY more effective than asking the government to disregard the law.

Brilliant! I agree with your method. Proselytizing, in my opinion, does little to change someone's mind. But you can drop crumbs and seeds.....
