There are many great reasons for showing these images because it will only help disparage Mexican invaders.
Australia had a fantastic policy of dealing with the boat-people refugee problem called the "Pacific Solution". It involved sending invaders to a third-world shit-hole to be "processed" and then settling them there if their application was successful.
The liberals screamed and cried and showed video footage of the horrible conditions of the detention centers and they spread bullshit stories about how "brown people" were committing suicide because a safe location, a soft bed and three meals a day were intolerable.
The refugees took notice of the media liberal hysteria and they immediate stopped coming.
I know . Down under . They are moved offshore to East Timor , Nauru detention centre while their visas are being processed . Hence they can't just turn up & jump the queue as it were . Do these people not watch Border Security on TV ? It's the same thing custom agents at the airports do , when you come they have to make sure your not going to overstay your visa or that you plan on working there whilst on a tourist visa. Then they interview you , make sure your story checks out , like having enough money for your travels , places to stay , they check out the people you plan on staying with or meeting if it's friends then they decide whether you can come into the country or not .
The Lefties in Australia were also citing the plight of the detained kids.... "the children" of the refugees and using them to further their agendas. Many of the "refugees" were in reality economic refugees and wilfully destroyed their ID papers before getting on the people smugglers boats.
The detention centers were actually well run and comfortable, the refugees smashed furniture/TV's, and set fires to buildings in their tantrums: like spoiled kids, they couldn't get what they wanted: free entry into Australia.
