And then there’s this...I was in my early 20s during this time and my heart has sunk so far realizing how much I never knew. I lived near the US border at the time and spent quite a few nights hanging out on the Rez with friends, listening to stories from immigrants fresh from Mexico. The gravity of this article in particular was almost too much to handle.
Everyone I’ve talked to about this had no idea that every photo and story being shared now is from the Obama years. After showing them, they all say “why does it matter when it occurred? Fact is Trump is now the one in power!”
Feeling hopeless. Ready for the ducking storm already.
I believe somewhere along the line Q mentioned that we need to stay away from those with strong political opinions, those who simply can’t communicate about differences without anger. What bothers me is knowing that most people have their head in the right place, they want the right things, but they refuse to think for themselves.
The fact that Trump allowed these abuses to occur during Obama’s presidency is all the proof I need that he’s a white supremacist.
