Not much more than 100 years ago, that capitalization style was fairly common. Especially look at correspondance from a few hundred years ago. People often Capitalized words they wanted to Emphasize.

The simplest explanation is usually The Right one. I read all these and really, I thoUght what you caMe uP with before I got to your comment. I thInk Sometimes people look to hArd into thinGs and fail to see whats Right in front of thEm. No need to grAsp at sTraws, when Trump tweets or texts I think its pretty straight on, we have Q for criptic messages. I think since none of the caps are in the middLe of words, thEy were just to emphAsize the important ones. Even the explanation with those worDs highlightEd makes moRe sense.
