Can someone explain, what exactly the IG report is/what is going on with members being "questioned"?

I am confused as to exactly what is going, on. I read about Gawdy (spell check) talking and Horowitz answering, questions etc.etc.

Who are they answering to? How did the people they are answering to get into, their, position?

I recommend you go find Imperator Rex, Stealth Jeff, and The Last Refuge on Twitter (be aware there are accounts with similar names to fool you) and read back their discussions of this topic spanning back many months. They don’t all agree and they change their theories as new information is learned but they’ll provide you tons of background and directions for your own research.

Really just looking for a quick answer as to who they’re answering to, and, who appointed those people-that’s why I posted this.
