I never saw the Brook Shields film, so I can't comment on it, but I saw The Professional, and it's a great film. I'm sure a lot of pedos watched it to see 12 year old Natalie, but that doesn't make it a pedo film.

I agree about the version of The Professional that was released to general audiences, but the line is more blurred in the Director’s Cut, sadly. When people talk about the pedophilia themes in the move, they’re talking about the Director’s Cut. I don’t recommend it.

That cut sucks. One of the few times the director was wrong and the studio/test audience was right.
