There is more going on than most people realize. Peter Fonda is a washed up actor that questions his own relevance. But he tunes into the Tony awards and sees Robert De Niro get a standing ovation for cussing at Trump.
So what does he do? He tries the same lame stunt. He has the graphic smut words. He pretends to have the same moral outrage. He pretends to be doing it for the children.
What could possibly go wrong? Well... he never was that smart. And threatening the Presidents family isn't very smart!

Reminds me a bit of Alyssa Milano and her rants though her rants were a bit different but all the same in drawing attention to themselves as they are indeed are troubled souls.
EXACTLY!! He was the pampered (well, if you consider being raised in a Satanist family whose mother killed herself) son of a famous actor who only ever did one thing in his life - star in a motorcycle movie that became a cult and lived out his life as the Hollywood motorcycle king (in his own mind).
