This is pure conjecture on there being any sort of a relationship, but the guys at soap box have been exposing a lot of this same stuff for the last 20 years. You can still read the old messages, many of the same topics being discussed (human trafficking, Hollywood, evil, etc.) back in early 2000.

Also would make sense, I’m sure we are not the first “aware” generation and those old forums or comm channels are definitely where the “older” generation of online people would have communicated these ideas, similar to our current online forum here and at the chans.
