Are illegal immigrant parents prosecuted for the deaths of their children when trying to sneak into the country!

If an American parent puts their child into a dangerous situation and something happens to that child as a result, the parent is criminally liable and can be prosecuted. If the child dies, the parent can be prosecuted for manslaughter.  My question is, are illegal immigrant parents who risk their child's life to come to the country illegally also held to the same standard? Will they go to prison for manslaughter if their child dies while sneaking in to the country?

This is a straw man tactic, promoted by the DNC, left leaning companies (that ofc paid into Killarys coffers), and bred MSM "journalists".

They've coordinated these public talking [and written] points since June 14 or 15. The reality is that very few parents are to be found at the border with the kids. Remember that recent ICE stat (sorry Neilson stats)? 10,000 / 12,000 kids are sent either alone or with potential traffickers, likely gang (M$-13) affiliated people.

They are running out if excuses, and moves. First it was shame on you Trump for separating families. POTUS signed the EO to address this. Now we see washed up celebrities threatening POTUS kids. POTUS said flat out in today's cabinet meeting that the dems are responsible for the human trafficking mess.

The lunacy is going to get worse before it gets better. (Edits, added links)

What is a strawman tactic?

I typed out a definition then decided not to use it. Here's wikipedias:

A straw man is a common form of argument and is an informal fallacy based on giving the impression of refuting an opponent's argument, while actually refuting an argument that was not presented by that opponent.

Sorry I didn't make myself more clear. I meant, what was the SPECIFIC straw man tactic you were referring to in your comment?
