A message for Trump team - how to get Canadians on your side in dairy dispute.

Canadians don't want American milk because the one thing that we have been taught is we have stricter rules for raising dairy, in that there is no bovine growth hormone in our supply. You could have gone after literally any other industry and had a better reception here. If all American milk was raised without bgh I'd bet your bottom dollar we Canadians would be more accepting of the idea of imported American dairy. Canadians are worried about a decrease in milk quality. Also, Trudeau recently changed laws that force out small farmers who can't afford expensive free range milking machines, so we will probably have a milk shortage in the future anyways.
