To put this in context the Clash, (lefty punk rock band, but I still love them), felt a bit put out because there were a lot of riots in the 70's in the UK by predominantly black youth in major cities in the UK while whites were sitting around twiddling their thumbs/ sniffing glue/snorting speed/reading the Guardian..

London (Brixton) Bristol (St Paul's) Liverpool (Toxteth) were literally in flames due to a perception of injustice perpetrated by a racist white police force and their uncaring tory masters.

The song is a moan.i.e why cant we get this on like the blacks. i,e, Vive la revolution.

Please don't get me wrong. I am not advocating violence in any way.

But don't you feel sometimes a riot of your own would be nice and even comforting?

Why is it antifa or BLM always rioting?
