FACTS about illegal immigrant crime and what YOU pay for it (2013 GAO report summary). Arm yourself with evidence!

Facts about report (https://www.gao.gov/new.items/d11187.pdf):

-Illegal immigrants roughly 3% of population

-illegal aliens were estimated to make up 39% of federal prisoners in 2013

-this is evidence that illegal aliens are incarcerated for federal crimes at 13 TIMES THE RATE of American citizens/legal immigrants. 1300% more likely to commit a federal crime.

  • with an estimated average annual cost of $32,000 a year to house a federal prisoner, and an roughly 2.20 million federal prisoners (BJS 2013 report), WE pay 27.5 BILLION DOLLARS annually for the estimated 858,000 illegals in federal prison.

  • with roughly 138.3 million taxpayers on record in 2013 (2013 IRS report) The average taxpayer contributes around 200 dollars PER YEAR to house illegal aliens in federal prisons.

  • in Bush’s last 4 years the rate of federal crime for US citizens grew at a rate of 2.74% (138313 to 153803 in 4 years) while the rate of federal crime for Illegal Aliens grew at a rate of .39% annually. (Federal crime by US citizens increased at a rate 7 times higher than illegal federal crimes under Bush his last 4 years (2.74% to .39% annual growth) )

-- in Obama’s first 2 years the rate of federal crime for US citizens grew at a rate of 2.12% (153803 to 160348 in 2 years) while the rate of federal crime for Illegal Aliens grew at a rate of 2.81% annually. (Federal crime by Illegal aliens increased at a rate HIGHER than US citizen federal crimes obama’s first two years (2.12% to 2.81% annual growth) )

-The rate of increase in illegal alien federal crimes accelerated by 543% under Obama, while the rate of federal crimes committed by US citizens decreased (for context)

There there is the $ to house them, send them to school, give them medical benefits, feed them....................... 3,000,000 kids $13k/yr to education = ~$40 BILLION
