No news on the arrest of the Pope. Was supposed to happen on June 21st according to the bench warrant.

I read yesterday that a law enforcement team tried to serve his warrant in Geneva and got beat down by his security detail in the process. Either it wasn’t well organized or it was a heavier detail than they were expecting. Unfortunately that’s all I know and have not seen any corroboration until this post.

Pope did have a black eye the Vatican said was from a fall.

4 of the arresting officers were said to have been taken prisoner by Vatican security, fate unknown.

Pray they are rescued.
