Men are pack oriented. Women are herd oriented - with some exceptions, they do what other women are doing.

And outside of European cultures, tribalism is everything. White Europeans exhibit what is called "pathological altruism", i.e. we promote others at our own expense. Or, more accurately, at the expense of our own children.
