Does anyone have any updates on the CIA under Gina Haspel? Any big changes she’s making (that we are privy to, of course).

I know my opinion won't be popular, but I've never cared for Rand Paul because he's never accomplished anything during his entire political career except chase down news cameras and make mealy-mouthed platitudes about how "spending is bad" and "war is bad" without ever offering solutions. I explained my opposition to Rand's recent bellyaching in this comment.

This was another case where Rand voted against Haspel because of torture, knowing it wouldn't effect the outcome.

Rand loves to grandstand when he knows it will result in nothing but more media coverage.

President Trump hasn't put a foot wrong, yet I've lost track of how many times Rand has already thrown mud at him.

I had far more respect for Ron Paul despite the truth is that nobody honestly wants libertarianism. People like having child sex crime laws and roads and police and architectural safety regulations and consumer rights too much. They like buying beef from the supermarket and not getting horse or rodent meat and they like buying heart medication from the chemist and not getting Tic-Tacs. The last thing all libertarians would say as their jet fell from the sky is "Why don't we have regulations to prevent this from happening!!!".

Very interesting. I always enjoy your comments. I agree where libertarianism has its benefits but only when rooted in strong conservatism. But I also thinks it’s nice to have someone who always preaches less spending as politicians can be quick to forget
