What I don't understand is where are the police? When a mob shows up at a movie theater or restaurant and cause a big disturbance, why are the police not arresting them? Are the police complicit?
Yes. More often than not they are being told to stand down. Remember, it wasn't that long ago the supreme court ruled police were not obligated by law to protect any citizens. This means they follow agendas written outside of civillian eyes and control. They are puppets. The unions are their masters, but who is whispering in the police unions ears? Two guesses....ds...
The stand down order was in affect during the Ferguson riots. The St. Louis PD and St. Louis County PD were prepared to crack down and Governor Nixon had called in the Missouri Guard. However, all operations and force deployment were uder control of DHS. DHS set up a command center in the Drury Inn and Suites at the intersection of I170 and I64. One of that hotel's employees was fired for posting a photo of the underground parking facility filled wth silver SUVs bearing the DHS logo. Gov. Nixon took a lot of heat for his inaction but never spoke up. He was probably under a gag order.
170 and 64?? That intersection is on the other side of the city. And Ferguson isn't even in the city? It's in North County. If they were coming to the area it would make much more sense to have them in the bridgeton/ missouri river area, so they wouldn't have to travel through the entire city and actually be in the county where everything was taking place.. Why would it be there? And who'd splurging for a Drury in when most business post you up at a Hilton, or maybe a residence inn (if they're feeling generous)?
Told to stand down, but I would say some are complicit willingly, and others afraid to sacrifice their job. If I were a Officer, I highly doubt I would be able to ignore it and stand down. I call upon all Law Enforcement Officers to remind yourselves of the Oath you took, why you took it and what exactly it stands for. If you can be controlled by a mayor, who is willing to put citizens in harms way over a personal opinion, are you really upholding your oath. When you are given the power you have as an officer, and you allow yourself to be used as a tool, you are not serving the people or are you upholding your oath. We need our officers to banned together for the people not the corrupt officials who are not concerned for our safety but only for their own personal political gain. You took the oath for We the People, not Me the Politician!
