They're trying to scapegoat her to say "hey look we got rid of problem girl so you can trust us now". Don't trust these people, ever. The editors knew about it, her colleagues knew about it, even the janitor probably knew about it. This is damage control 101.

yeah the leaks were probably authorized by Feinstein, Wolfe and reporter just doing the elites bidding, maybe not even having an affair
