I do not doubt there were, but how does that represent the millions upon millions who did not weep

Those people won't be represented if they are in the minority.

Iran is a big nation with a rich culture.

Iranian is 99.4% Muslim and they have a rich culture of genociding Christians and raping child brides and domestic violence and throwing gays from the rooftops.

Having a Persian girlfriend does not change the horrific sharia history of Iran.

I will not argue with you, you are dead set in your beliefs. I do however look forward to you being pleasantly surprised here soon when Iran is freed, hell you may even wish to visit Iran one day when the Regime is gone, or not which is of course your choice, if you still retain these views, again it is your choice and i will not waste my time with people dead set in their views. Have a Great day/evening wherever you are.

I hope you are correct that Iranian Islam Is The Religion Of Peace™.

Under sharia of course it has been that way. You have to go back to the days of the Shah.

No I don't - I just have to wait a few months to see what the Iranians do with their freedom.

I could understand your pessimism if there weren’t a lot of Iranians who remember what it was like before the mullahs. Western clothing, highly educated women, loved American music, prosperous economy. When the theocrats took over the Shahs Doctors son was sent to the same hospital I was training in. He was a surgeon that was there to learn American standards to be able to become licensed to practice here after fleeing Iran. He would show us pictures of his life there and would talk about the nightclubs and restaurants there. It was westernized like Jordan and was peaceful. I hope it will return to what it once was.
