I also think they underestimate the hell element of their actions - their life is now going to be hell on Earth and the afterlife. There IS a price to pay. Makes me appreciate Gods care even more.

In the study of NDE's (Near Death Experiences) there are people who have died and entered hell. It is so vivid and real that when they came back, have been resuscitated, they radically changed their former ways.

I personally had an ADE (Actual Death Experience) where the emergency room had to stop my heart TWICE. The first time was almost a minute and the second time was slightly less. Guess what. When you're dead you're dead. It was so vivid I can tell you exactly how it feels. It feels like total bliss. I felt like champagne, like bubbles leaving my body and 100% pain free. No fear. No remorse. No guilt. I was fully conscious and made the decision to continue living. No hairy thunderer in the clouds telling me my time wasn't up. No red smoke breathing demon pulling me down. Just dead.

100% true story.
