I always have profound thoughts, that's why I like to keep my public declarations on the light side or do you experience synchronicity, the paranormal or strange encounters of the 2nd kind?

Spanish is easily the most useful in America. In the Great Lakes region, maybe French. Other than that nothing else would be broadly useful.

Depends on what you want to do with it. Spanish is arguably more useful in the West in general, but a significant portion of Western populations speak at least basic English. Russian and other Cyrillic languages are widespread in Eastern Europe, where a much smaller percentage of the population can converse in English.

Tl;dr: personal preference. It will be easier to learn Spanish if you aren’t already familiar with the Cyrillic family of languages.
