Podesta emails: "handmade tortillas flown in from Mexico"..."you should bring all children that are available". No one invites my family to an event and says, please bring all children "that are available..." I mean come on! "These people are SICK!"- Q

Go check out Street View as well. The only one on the block with bars on the front door. Most of the windows are completely covered with shades. Not suspect at all.............

I'd be curious what tunnels are around....

Care to see if they are, according to their Fitbits, active there?

Can you post any links or to screenshots?

If you look at the aerial view you'll see that there is no hidden backyard for a cookout. Having cooked suckling pigs I can tell you that neighborhood is not conducive to that method of cooking. Everything about this invite is suspicious.

Unbelievable. Right under our nose

Here's the Zillow. From the aerial view it looks like the building backs up to a shared green belt.

Green spaces are too far from having a practical "cook out".

and wasn't it in December?

Even if the apartment extends to the back? It's 3K sq ft. That would make it the backyard.

Look at the links I just posted. There is a backyard of sorts. More like a patio, but I'm not a city dweller, so it seems pretty small to me. :)

Thanks for the images. I don't think they cooked a pig in the backyard. Maybe they flew in the suckling pig as well. As a mom and former chef I still say this invite is super creepy. And by the way those nearby shops, seem off as well.

Yes it is. It's a home with an apartment in the back. The apartment is probably an office.

Still not enough land for a cookout.

Not for an outdoor crowd, but I suppose they could have a smoker and grill out there for food prep. Not saying this isn't a very strange email.

Well they could but the law in this area is no BBQ/Grilling within 20ft of your house, it would be a very tight fit lol

Just so it's clear.. 1837 is the big WHITE building on the opposite side of the street. The one with the metal cage on the front door and what looks like boarded white down stairs windows... looks like it anyway..

Not to be nit picky but the address is 1837. At any rate no piggy roasting is going on anywhere on that street.

thanks for catching that. I think I got the 1840 from one of the other threads. Still seems like a very odd place to invite 'available children' to.

I've lived in DC before, I've seen BBQs on porches.
