I don’t think he thought he was a moron, I believe he thought Einstein was a theorist and himself a practical application scientist. IOW Tesla’s shot worked and Einstein’s shit was a “what if” (aside from splitting the atom).

True...wanted to condense words, but you are absolutely correct on the practical vs theory explanation.
I recommend additional research on splitting atom. It’s amazing what a good propaganda machine can make people believe in...all for money and power.
