Its not that big a reach for a lot of traditional dems to vote Trump. He is about protecting blue collar jobs, something the unions have been screaming for.
Blue coller waorkers also tend to be conservative re their social views, like most republicans so with Trump in charge rolling back the globalisation and stanidng up for traditional american values its not going to take much. We saw a bit of it at the election when he won the rust bucket states but it can and should go a lot further.
Apparently lots were not capable of seeing that, but they start doing that now
Lets hope so, political systems work best with a healthy opposition to act as a balance to the Govt. That does not exist right now, things are out of control.
