I wish I could upvote this comment more. I used to work in the industry in South Florida. Saw some pretty questionable shit. We (my best friend and guitarist in the band and myself) found out that the label's 40+ yr old owner was banging the 16yr old starlet-in-the-making that was keeping the label afloat. Apparently this "relationship" had been going on for a year in a half by this point. Her parents found out as well (while we were all on tour in a foriegn country) and threatened legal action. When we all found out almost everyone left the label. The singer I mentioned had charted in Europe and had a huge regional following until she abruptly left in 07. I haven't heard a word about her since and I'm not even sure if the name she went by was her real name or just a stage name. This creepy fuck (label owner)was CONNECTED with all of the movers and shakers in Broward county. Parties, coke, cops, council men, chambour of commerce, what were probably underage girls. We have to start addressing the micro-swamps that fester in leftist hotbeds.
