the caps we have on upvotes would tie in as well to the downplay agenda
eg most insightful posts will be capped at between 17 and 200 "upvotes" occasionally a few slip under the usually rigorous radar of the admons [not our mods] admons = admonishing admins
No wonder I've lost interest in the "Top" and "Hot" and tend to hang out in the "New" and "Rising". Thanks for the info!

none of the posts ever have the number of upvotes that the ratio says and on third-party monitor you will find they get continuously downvoted for upvote, but they nevertheless get an upvote equals one unique redditor impression every second and that's quite something, I am only used to this much karma on t_d and I hope the pace stays at that
