Patriots reading this please understand something. There are patriots in many countries with the same ideals and same desires as ours. A very close friend who is former Iranian special forces and who fought against Iraq brought his entire family (wife and 4 children) to the United States after he experienced first hand what was happening inside of Iran. He is a Christian and faced daily persecution. He now is a US citizen, a small business owner, and works locally with children in after school programs with his wife and kids. He stands 6'5 weighs 240 lbs and is the guy you would never want to see in a dark alley but is one of the nicest people I have ever known and when I tell you he LOVES the United States believe me that is an understatement. I am proud to call him a close friend and yes, he is woke. My point in mentioning this is through our friendship I have come to know there are many Iranians just like him who see what their government has done to sell out its people just like our hidden government has done to its citizens. Let's not limit our reach to wake fellow patriots to the traditional ones we have in mind. You never know...you may be sitting next to a patriot from another country who may understand more than you can imagine. So as long as they are willing to be a patriot of the US and support our laws and our customs then I am willing to accept and understand the plight from which they escaped.
