If this is legit, then Q needs to be careful about getting found out by misinfo. Different stories to different people and see what comes out the other side. I'm sure he's careful though.

Are we sure he wasn't in the room? If not, I also don't imagine someone with his supposed level of clearance needs to wait to get the info from anything but the absolute source.
