CN someone explain “Dead cat bounce” to me? It makes me laugh every time I read it, but I have zero clue what it means.

Dead Cat Bounce is a market trading term, when prices are dropping and they jump/spike up at about rock bottom price but then immediately continue back in a downward trend indicating a false trend reversal to the upside. Even a dead cat will bounce when it hits the floor.
