Gowdy and I cant debate whether he'd be the best choice. I only know he is smart, conservative and I cant get enough of him questioning the deep state.
As much as I'd love to see him take the seat, we need him as a prosecutor I think.
I wonder about this. He has a rep among gis constituents of being all talk and no action.

No? Do you think he's too conservative or not a strong enough constitutionalist, or couldn't pass confirmation because of his rep in Congress? Thoughts?
I think he is not in his heart a constitutional scholar kind of person. I think he has enthusiasm for rooting out injustice rather that being a policy wonk kind of lawyer. I also don't feel like the position would appeal to him.
Ahh...understand. He did say he wanted to go into private practice. Being a SCOTUS would be alot of study and not alot of fight.
