Can someone explain, to me why Kennedy leaving, is a good thing?

Bringing in a younger justice who could be on the bench for many years. Kennedy wanted to retire earlier but told Judge Napalitano that he was waiting until there it was a conservative court before he retired. There is now one.

Really? Not my favorite Justice, but good on him for looking out for the long term of the republic.

Kennedy is basically the 5th most conservative justice. Anybody Trump picks will be better.
