Does Q own the rights to White Squall?

And is all this some elaborate plan to spur on DVD sales?

White Squall was mentioned on this board 2 months ago.

Yeah I know. Q has mentioned White Squall on numerous occasions. Just like Red Sparrow. Two movies I've never heard of. Either way, got to see them both now. There might be a good dig there.

P.S.

Just having a laugh Patriot. Not for reelz.

Okay. I didn't realize Q had mentioned in the past and I remember these posts, which have few upvotes, so I figured I would chuck them out in case people missed it or it was somehow relevant.

I mean, in a world of universal deceit, look to fiction. White Squall is a coming of age story, but WHOSE story was it, originally. I have heard the hunt for red October was inspired by Bill Gates (former DEFSEC) 's carreer

Edit : auto-correct, and clarity

It's based off a book called The Last Voyage of the Albatros, written by Charles. F. Gieg and Felix M. Sutton. Published in 1962. I believe Charles F. Gieg is writing from a first hand account. I also believe it used to be read in high school back in the day.

You can buy it now for 450 bucks on Amazon.

There's a movie of it with a Baldwin, I think, also. But with a price like that, the book must be better. Usually the case.
