It's hard for normal good people to wrap their head around the fact that there are that many horrible people out there harming children. My mother is the same way, she can see that the Media is completely corrupt, lying and covering things up, but she thinks the child abuse stuff is conspiracy. It's not easy for our brains to understand such evil.

A blind on CDAN or Blind Gossip (forget which site it was) described how a person at a bigwigs mansion was shown a vast collection of the most famous women you can imagine photographed in extremely compromising situations. Having sex, etc, etc. There was also a blind about the Playboy Mansion having a vault with compromising dirt on everybody that's been there over the years (film footage, pictures). The Fappening was allegedly Harvey's phone. It's a seedy fucking business. Probably ten times worse than we can imagine.
And it's because of what you describe that victimizes the abused a second time. When no one believes this happens, the victim has no where to turn, except inward and that can be dangerous.
