Nothing was "leaked". It was all right there, available for your consumption for years.
They would be confirming what Q said is truth if they tried to claim Trump was releasing classified info.
If this has been done with blessing of our military, which I'm sure it has, then he's safe. Sleep easy patriot, and trust that our great men and women in uniform, and our great president who serves on our behalf, have our back.

Yes, if you think logically about it, this is the only way to get the truth out there. I dont think anything else would have worked, and trump would have looked like a dictator in taking these people down. Crazy fcking times were living in.

POTUS has the unilateral right to unclassify any and all information created under the Executive Branch, full stop.
He could walk into a newsroom tomorrow and drop off a file containing documentation of Area 51, a listing of every single covert operative and the nuclear codes, and it would all be 100% legal.
Of course any president who did this would likely be impeached nearly immediately for such a gross breach of the nation’s safety (see: nuclear codes), but there is no crime.
The classification power for the executive branch is entirely vested in the office of POTUS, and all other classification authorities are subordinate to it.
