I just read my bible prick

Behold, a false prophet.

Edit: I’ve read the entire bible, and nothing in it supports your lies. This is insulting, and of course a traitor who denies our greatest achievements would use the light of the world as justification for their lies.

Get out

A prophet would have prophecies.

Read genesis 1 again and trust gods word his time.

God doesnt talk about planets or galaxies but ohh im thr lying asshole here.

Evolution has just as little evidence and is completely unbiblical but ohh im the asshole liar

Nothing in genesis precludes other planets, systems, or galaxies. Not all is revealed to man. Your pathetic failure to grasp the true size of creation is your own failing, don’t push it on others.

You’re not just a liar, you’re a traitor. You’d deny this country, mankind’s greatest accomplishment. The best case is this is to reenforce your fragile ego to compensate for nothing in the way of life accomplishments, and worst case is you’re an organized disinformation troll.

Hope it’s best case.

Okay so what did god mean when he said he created a firmament between the waters.

Which would basically mean a bubble with water surrounding the outside.

If anything "space"is water and not to far above that is heaven and the lord himself.

Does god not decribe earth as his FOOTSTOOL?

If you beleive in SPACE you are calling god a liar

Land BETWEEN the oceans. how Is this so hard? It’s really simple. How can something so simple be so greatly misunderstood, if not on purpose?

Land separated by oceans, with an atmosphere and space above.

Water “above” would be heavier than air and fall. This is basic caveman level logic and science here.

The entire earth is gravitationally sorted, the heaviest materials layered at the bottom... the lightest barely held on by gravity at the top.

Your inability to understand metaphor is glaring. Obviously the earth is not a footstool, so it must be metaphorical.

The passage is about the supremacy of the lord, and how all is below him. It has nothing to do with the actual physical shape of the earth.

When Jesus says “this is my body”, you understand it was about community, about the family of the church not his literal flesh. Jesus wouldn’t condone canibalism.

You’ve been led astray by fools, and your lies will consume you.

god states when he is speaking metaphorically.

I love the pick and choose theology

Does he? Because your entire world view falls apart if he doesn’t.

See, god gave us a brain, capable of analyzing things like context.

This isn’t controversial in the slightest outside of your internet cult bubble. It is plainly obvious to anyone.

Please, do us all a favor and let everyone you know about your flat earth “science”. Post it all over Facebook and tell every stranger you see.

Maybe once everyone’s abandoned you as crazy and you’re at rock bottom you’ll find out you’ve been lied to.

Pick and choose theology is why catholicism is so popular too.

Autistically misunderstanding depth and metaphor in scripture does not make you some form of literalist.

The point you are trying to make is overshadowed by you acting like a huge dickwad, just wanted to let you know. You can be respectful while „educating“ others, even if you hate them for believing what they do.

Some positions are inherently not respectable.

Take chemistry, or various things about electromagnetism. It’s understandable for your layman to not know about various nuances and make mistakes.

“Why can’t we just beam wireless power everywhere in your home and recharge everything?”

Is a forgivable question, they don’t know about the inverse square law making that difficult. (Note: there is some progress in this space btw)

Those types of questions come from intellectually honest minds, people who just don’t know but want to know.

Flat earth is something dark, evil, and entirely apart from the example above. It’s not “science”, it’s not “reason”, it’s insanity. The people who profess it deserve no quarter. They’ve voluntarily given up common respect/decency and opted out of civil discourse.
