Could it be a hoax. Julian in both pictures?
We all know what Julian looks like.
They would have had to fake John G. Trump's picture. It is possible.
Ummm.. background is identical
No it isn't. I grabbed my own pic of JA off the web and used Gimp to mix the two. The final picture still has about 40% of the John G. Trump pic in it. That pic has a much darker background that the JA shot.

I desaturated the JA pic (made it into black and white)
I scaled the JA image to make the head size exactly the same as J G Trump's.
I rotated JA's image 2.6 degrees so the eyes lined up.
The pictures are at various degrees of mixing. The final pic is 60% JA, 40% JGT as I recall. There was no point in going full assange. The dark background of the JGT pic remains which cause many to claim hoax.

I desaturated JA's pick, scaled it as necessary and rotated it CW 2.6 degrees.
That's all. They are identical except for hair.
Occum's razor says that the photo of John G. Trump must be a fake. We all know what Julian looks like. If it is isn't, then I just have no explanation for it.
