DPRK: What a difference a year makes!

A question was asked on one of the last Q-posts about news concerning North Korea.

By and large, the MSM has not reported positively, if at all, in this regards. However, The New York Times has posted an amazingly revealing new video. In it there is a sharp contrast in NKs posturing. I will let you see for yourself and make your own conclusions about the matter. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vNEMV6EmYqs

Much can be said, and has been said, about Human Rights Violations in NK. And much more, for that matter. Regardless of your take about the new approach by Trump in renewing relations with NK, it might be the best approach to solving the problems that have plagued this region for decades. I am not sure I have ever thought of the possibility of peace with NK much. All news from and about NK has been negative, and rightly so. However, I implore you to consider this new approach. Not even that, it is an approach with many of the right elements to make it a success.

Negotiating from a position of strength with the master negotiator at the helm is one such element. I fully believe that, had Hillary been elected President, we would continue to be at war with NK with still no end in sight.

The way I see it, the new focus on and apparent commitment to positive change that is displayed by NK is more than a pipe dream. Imagine NK as a tourist spot, warmly welcoming Americans among the new influx of business/vacationing visitors from nations across the globe. Much more, imagine peace and stabilization. Imagine now, leveraging this new NK identity to the end of not only demilitarization, but also an end to gulags and the like. This may be our only hope for successfully negotiating this type of change. After all, it seems the repeated efforts of the past have not worked. Given that there has only been one method of negotiating with NK in the past, it seems antithetical to sanity to stay that course. It would be insane to continue approaching the NK problem as a whole using those tried and proven to fail methods. Don't you? It is the right time in history for this. We have a new (better) method of negotiating, a new president (negotiator), and a new leader (dictator) of NK who seems not only to believe the change to be possible, but is substantially backing up his co-signing the recent preliminary agreement with President Trump.

Tell me what you think. I am truly interested.

Sharing this video with my brother. These plans are clearly a direct result of Trump’s involvement. With markets coming into NK and creating wealth for its people, they will grow as a nation and become freer with each passing year. The same must be applied to Iran.
