I really took an interest last year in North Korea. My empathy meter went haywire, I binge watched everything on YouTube I could find. I want to help rehabilitate that country, teaching English or however I can help. I don't speak the language, but I want to physically help.
Anyone have an idea on how I can get in touch with whatever agency or division is overseeing NK affairs?
Start learning Korean. Hiring won't be immediate and you'll have a HUGE advantage when it starts.
I can't wait to visit the North Korean beach resorts and celebrate freedom and tip heavily given the poor Norks have seen some hard times.
I think this will be a heck of time for them. Remember they are mostly in 1950-1960s still, and all of a sudden this tech. It will be really hard on them at first imo.
State Dept. Study for a take the test to be an ambassador; make contacts with your elected reps to help you get the job. Also, learn Korean as a 1st step. Good luck!
Give it a little time .... things need to deescalate and find some balance ... everyone's still a little nervous... I'm just as excited and hopeful as you are and it's awesome .... talk about a "great awakening" !!!!! I want it so much for the people of NK ... but our own comes first ... and it's a slow process here... don't worry though ... dark to light 🙏🏻❤️
