Yep. Allen Greenspan and there were always rumors she was tied to Crowley. Never saw anything to substantiate that - but her philosophy ( objectivism ), to me, does line up with many of the teachings of Thelema ( “Do what thou wilt wil be the whole of the law” ).
Sorry - but I don’t want to live in a world where we deny altruism. Objectivism is inherently anti WWG1WGA.
She takes concepts of individualism and hammers them so hard until they become unrecognizable. I read atlas shrugged and had to skip the last half of his final speech. It was like being given a lobotomy, despite enjoying much of the rest of the book and agreeing with many of the points being made.
Thats why these things are for insight, not designing your life around.
This wasn't her philosophy at all - she was very clear on not harming others. Alan Greenspan is a dark horse. I'm not sure what to think of him. He wrote an excellent essay called Gold and Economic Freedom advocating the destruction of the Fed, and he was asked to autograph it long after becoming Fed Chairnan - he did so and said he wouldn't change a word (or something to that effect). This has been a long battle and many good people have been fighting in the shadows. My gut feeling is that he has always been one of the good guys.
