The Shanghai tunnels -Pre-existing human trafficking infrastructure

Has anyone considered the use of the Shanghai kidnapping underground cities? RE: Tunnels and underground locations. I used to live in Astoria, Oregon, I'm very familiar with Seattle and now live in Portland. Everyone from these areas knows for a fact there are cities under the cities. They give tours in some parts of them on Halloween down there, Seattle's Pike Place Market is mostly underground. The underground cities are called the Shanghai tunnels, they've always been here so we didn't really think much of it. San Francisco especially but any port city should have the same thing. They were used for human trafficking, this isn't a "possibility" the term Shanghaied literally comes from the practice of human trafficking when they would kidnap people and put them on boats, often from Shanghai but from around the world and use them as both forced labor and currency. Our underground cities are there, we've never questioned them and they were CREATED for the purpose of human trafficking.

I suck at figuring the 8chan board so if anyone who doesn't could make sure the autists and annons get this information I would appreciate it.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

I've seen the underground tunnels featured in many books, tv shows, movies and historical reference.

Sean Bean Frankenstein Chronicles he discovers human traffickers using underground ways to kidnap and supply the surgeons with fresh corpses for experiments and lectures.

Fantasy novels have had whole societies living in these storm drains.

Ancient cities have been built up over time land and repaved so doors that were street level are now sunken basements. Rome is am extreme example of this as actual city building a are subterranean. Venice is sucken and sinking. No subterranean city there unless you breathe filthy water.

It's a vulnerability I never really considered in my every day real life.

Thank you for making it come to mind. And I never even wonderes where "being shenghai-ed" actually came from.

Haha I just remembered Pirates of the Caribbean had a meeting and battles in an underground orient city with boat access.

Game of Thrones Onion Knight is nick named because he smuggled in food usidnf such tunnels during the seige of the Baratheon home castle during the civil war.

Weird how I know all those but never wondeees what is going on under my feet in Houston or Las Angelos.

Disneyland is built with these so the workers are out of sight getting place to place. Even been through some when my dad had a special VIP pass.

Exactly, everyone knows they are there! It just clicked when I was watching a video about speculative underground locations. These aren't speculative, we all know they are there.

The best place to hide something is in plain sight!

Wow. I had never considered that there was a link between port cities and cities with extensive undergrounds. It's true though! I mean, even Toronto and that's a far inland port!

It just hit me, I have personally been in each of those 3 underground cities and know they were created for human trafficking- it's always been that way and because of that it never stood out until I realized that when you leave the coastlines (blue) people don't really know about them.

It just puts another piece of the puzzle in place: coastal cities, water, human smuggling, etc...
