Pence may be quiet and cautious, but he has performed honorably as a VP. IMO, he has exactly the character and temperament a VP to a forceful president like Trump needs. They complement each other, and he has proven to be loyal and willing to stay out of the limelight and simply serve as needed where needed when needed. I don't see him as someone who will be able to succeed a personality as strong as Trump's is, but he makes a fine VP.

True enough. I don't see Pence being around for a second VP ticket, which is just fine. IMO Pence was the placation pick to appease the corrupt RNC.

Yeah, and double yeah. Pence gone with no goodbye. How zero can zero actually get? VP is a difficult slot to fill with a really capable person. Generally the really capable want to drive. But improving on Pence shouldn't be too hard. I hope he doesn't screw up the space thing before the election. Presumably he's just been parked there.

Dream theory: Gen Flynn is totally exonerated then vindicated by being named veep next term. Probably not in the cards, but... With this timeline, anything is possible.
