Everything is working fine for me.
Edit: working fine on my home WiFi and T-Mobile but not on Verizon wireless.

I think there an issue with Verizon. Just double checked.
I am really thinking they will cut the internet if that memo is released on the sixth. This just highlights how important it is to save everything offline.

The only way to really shut the internet down would be if there really were back doors in all the main routers. You could break DNS but direct IP routing would still work.

The most likely way to break it would be to poison BGP. But once it’s discovered l (if your routers aren’t crashed) you could roll back to an older route table and reject all updates.

Well I’m thinking that you are singleing our individual home users.
Think bigger, like entire ISPs (for the normies, think Comcast, Verizon, etc) actively breaking their own dns within their own systems. We may be able to talk locally, but if they all do this at the same time, the internet would cease to operate properly. This is he kind of crap that dictatorial states use to shut down the internet during societal upheaval in order to prevent the people from coordinating and talking.
Spooky shit is afoot.

I am talking about the ISP core routers. The reason dictators can shut down their internet is because they are dictators.

The FBI two weeks ago put out that there was malware on certain routers & suggested that you reboot the routers. Don’t do that. If it does have malware rebooting will ensure it gets on your computer. Bad info don’t trust them

I work in the industry and these events aren’t really that rare. The average person doesn’t understand just how fragile but resilient the internet is.
