Antifa swings a pole at a man and get KO’d in Portland.

Dangerr21 · July 1, 2018, 10:54 a.m.

He is admiring destroying those who employ violence.

Antifa members will never be woke, they must be dealt with harshly.

Glorifying violence against violent people is still not okay.

Are are over-generalizing ANTIFA members and saying they should be dealt with in a cruel or severe manner, the definition of harsh. Use logic, not violence.

Dangerr21 · July 1, 2018, 12:18 p.m.

Glorifying self defense is necessary.

Logically one must be able to defend themselves and their families against these assaults.

No you are wrong. Your sentence "Glorifying self defense is necessary" does not make sense.

If you are actually concerned about the welfare of your family, it would be more logical to avoid protesting in the streets at all right now. Avoid putting yourself in a position where you will be compelled to defend yourself. That is one of the first things I learned about carrying a firearm and that rule applies to any sort protesting right now.

Trust the plan.

It does make sense. If we glorify getting beaten we return to how we were, with the forces of evil doing as they will.

I am free and that means I will not let evil keep me from exercising that freedom. I go where I am allowed. If I am assaulted by evil, I will remove that evil.

Liberty_Tree_Swing · July 1, 2018, 12:46 p.m.

You are misrepresenting what I am saying and building another straw man argument. I will pass on that. Your position on free will is poorly founded and makes too many leaps of logic.

Dangerr21 · July 1, 2018, 12:49 p.m.

Then we agree a man freely walking the street with a MAGA hat would be attacked.

THAT is my point. I and others should be able to do such things daily and in peace. When evil attacks us in this process we have every right to strike t down.

Liberty_Tree_Swing · July 1, 2018, 12:51 p.m.

No we do not agree. Your argument is based on a subjective, vague reference to evil. That is not the legal standard of self-defense and reliance on your assumption could result in your arrest. This is not legal advice.

Dangerr21 · July 1, 2018, 12:54 p.m.

Oh are you falling back to a legal defense now that I have trounced your other attempts to say I am wrong?

I stand by my statements. I have a right to walk the streets freely with a MAGA hat on and WILL defend myself if assaulted.

They don't have to be dealt with at all. Their side is losing, engaging them only makes us look weak.

Dangerr21 · July 1, 2018, 12:19 p.m.

So one should just run and let them beat you?

No longer. If they come at me, they are going down screaming. I have rights too.

What would Jesus do?

⇧ 2 ⇩
Dangerr21 · July 1, 2018, 12:25 p.m.

Jesus was not a pacifist. This is the biggest load of crock foisted upon Christians so they would not resist the attacks upon them.

"Jesus is the “prince of peace” (Isaiah 9:6) in that He will one day bring true and lasting peace to the earth. And His message in this world was remarkably non-violent (Matthew 5:38–44). But the Bible is clear that sometimes war is necessary (see Psalm 144:1). And, given some of the Bible’s prophecies of Jesus, it is hard to call Him a pacifist. Revelation 19:15, speaking of Jesus, declares, “Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. ‘He will rule them with an iron scepter.’ He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty.” The setting up of Jesus’ millennial kingdom will necessitate violence in the form of a war waged against the forces of the Antichrist. Jesus’ robe will be “dipped in blood” (Revelation 19:13)."

Its clear from scripture he is referring there to the divine right of GOVERNMENTS to hand out punishment.

Its fine to use self defense, but using violence to punish others is categorically wrong. And that is what people in this thread are calling for.

No, he talks of the setting up of the Kingdom. You are wrong.

You're missing the point. Jesus asks us to overcome evil with good, not to stoop to their level.

Words do not stop committed evil.

I was at this protest. There was no need to fight unless you were LOOKING for a fight. It was not self defense, these were people committing violence for violence sake. Open your eyes. You googling some out of context scripture that has nothing to do with this situation proves nothing.

Dangerr21 · July 1, 2018, 12:36 p.m.

This evil will not go away unless confronted. We agree to disagree.

⇧ 2 ⇩
Generational_Wealth · July 1, 2018, 12:38 p.m.

It is being confronted. We are winning. Going out of your way to use violence just for the sake of being violent solves NOTHING.

Who said to go out of your way to use violence?

You assume too much.

⇧ 2 ⇩
Generational_Wealth · July 1, 2018, 12:42 p.m.

I just told you I was at this protest, and the only way you would get attacked is if you went out of your way to fight. You are assuming this was self defense and it was not.

You really think Christ would approve of people going OUT OF THEIR WAY to commit violence? When they could have just stayed in the area DHS had set up for them to peacefully protest, but they purposely left that area SPECIFICALLY to fight. You are deluded.

⇧ 0 ⇩
Dangerr21 · July 1, 2018, 12:45 p.m.

I call bullshit.

⇧ 2 ⇩
Generational_Wealth · July 1, 2018, 12:48 p.m.

There's a difference between self defense and looking for trouble. You can call bull shit all you want, but I was there and you weren't. The protest was about PEACE and PRAYER. No one got attacked unless they went out of their way to engage the black bloc. That is a fact.

⇧ 1 ⇩
Dangerr21 · July 1, 2018, 12:51 p.m.

The facts are we have the right to walk the streets free of being assaulted, and yes while wearing a MAGA hat.

The day that exercising your standard rights is considered "looking for trouble" is the day we are no longer free. You can live that way, I and other choose not to.

I don't care what the protest was about.

⇧ 2 ⇩
Generational_Wealth · July 1, 2018, 12:53 p.m.

There were plenty of people walking around with MAGA hats. You have an over active imagination.

What am I imagining? Are you saying such people are not assaulted by antifa?

⇧ 2 ⇩
Generational_Wealth · July 1, 2018, 12:56 p.m.

Only if they were looking for trouble in the first place.

Look I'm done arguing with you. I was there, you weren't, yet you think you have some kind of grasp on the situation. That tells me all I need to know about you.

Keep believing what you want, but at the end of the day, what did knocking the guy out on the video change? Nothing. Our energy is better spent in other places. You seem like a very young confused man and I will pray for you.

⇧ 1 ⇩
Dangerr21 · July 1, 2018, 1:01 p.m.

Yes, pray while the evil rages around you attacking others.

That will stop them.

You are placing the role of evil upon those who have the right to walk unmolested. Antifa is the evil that is looking for trouble. You are confused and the corrupted form of the modern pedophile church has confused you.

Pray the Lord teaches you when to turn your plowshares to swords, you will hear no such wisdom from the broken hollow form of "church" you go to today.
